Hailing from the East (Kilbride), Helicon have mastered the art of layering guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and placing a sitar shaped cherry on top on this 2015 outing.... In A Sad Red Dusk. The b-side, We're Gaun Tae The Moon is a drums heavy dog walk through a Doors tinged wilderness, before they take the reigns and finish with a "neo-psyche" chase into the kaleidoscopic blackness ahead. Cool. David Currie

Very strong debut album (and one of their best) by this fantastic band from Italy. Picking a favourite track was very hard. Papa Jay (Radio Smorgasbord)

Tracks like future echo or see through you are like a soundtrack to all my emotions and create a movie of my innermost.

Psychedelic Rock reminiscent of early Catherine Wheel and Ride - not a bad thing. Quality musicianship and great use of spoken word sample on You Had It All - possibly Terence McKenna? Update - sample is Alan Watts - thanks to the Angry Arab for putting me right! RIYL Superfjord, Sundial circa 'Other Way Out' and the above. The Socialist Birder
